A little about Eira Lynn Jones:

EIRA LYNN JONES is a harpist, teacher and composer.

Her eclectic career includes orchestral work, recordings, publications, chamber music, workshops and teaching.

She has been Guest Artist in South Africa, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Greece, USA and throughout the UK. Her compositions for both lever and pedal harp are enjoyed by harpists of all ages and levels. The Sunken Forest Suite explores the Welsh legend of Cantre’r Gwaelod and the rising sea levels today. Songs of Hope, written as a response to Covid-19, has been performed worldwide and Clouds in a Sunlit Sky (from Summer Days) was selected for Harps North West JaNEWary Challenge.

Studying with Kathleen Bride (a pupil of Marcel Grandjany) in New York gave her a passion for teaching. She was Head of Harp at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester for nearly 30 years. Her online courses and teaching are in high demand, with students attending from as far away as New Zealand and China.

ELJ Music is a publishing venture jointly run with her husband, Steve. All the music is clearlytypeset and offers great value for money.

Eira’s CDs include many works on the ABRSM and Trinity Syllabus.
