Morning Interludes - Eira Lynn Jones

This book of interludes started as a set of etudes / studies focusing on interval shapes. It covers the spacing for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th, but with an introduction to 6th, 7th and 8ve in the final piece. When writing harp tunes, I usually have a story, which then gives the inspiration for pieces. With these studies however, images and titles followed much later. A set of technical exercises developed into musical compositions that my pupils enjoy performing.  ELJ
